CRIME: CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFTS
CRIME SCENE: SOUTHEAST POLK COUNTY/US 27 AREA
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-10180
Between March 6th and March 9th, there were several burglaries where catalytic converters were targeted in the area of Highway 27 and ABC Cutoff Road in Lake Wales.
It is believed that these individuals were on side-by-side’s and/or four wheelers.
It is also believed that they utilized the Lake Wales Mud Hole as a mode of travel.
If anyone observed any individuals transporting catalytic converters inside the Mud Hole or have any information on these thefts please contact Detective Ferguson at 863-455-4178 or email hferguson@polksheriff.org.
