CRIME: MULTIPLE VEHICLE BURGLARIES
CRIME SCENE: HARPER GROVE APARTMENT COMPLEX, DAVENPORT
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE #: 25-882, 25-887, 25-956
On Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at approximately 5:00 AM, a dark-colored Kia sedan entered the Harper Grove Apartment Complex in Davenport through the center gate of the complex.
In the video (here), the vehicle can be seen parking, and three unidentified suspects exit the vehicle. They open their trunk, and burglarize the vehicle they parked next to. They then drive to another building in the same complex, and burglarize that vehicle as well. A third vehicle was burglarized, but no footage of that incident was recovered. The suspects stole a total of three catalytic converters from three different vehicles. The suspects then leave the complex through the north gate, and turn right onto Sand Mine Drive.
Similar vehicle burglaries have occurred in a nearby neighborhoods, including in Osceola County.
