CRIME: THEFT OF STARBIES AT RACETRAC
CRIME SCENE: 6650 US HWY 98 NORTH, LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE CASE: #24-34944
No it's not the crime of the century, but when someone walks into a Racetrac and thinks it's okay to just take a Starbucks Paradise drink out of the refrigerator and pour it into a big cup of ice, then hide the empty Starbies bottle on the shelf before sauntering back to the car, with her little dog in tow..........well, we want to know who she is. She just picked up a charge of retail theft.

This crime occurred between 12:15 and 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2024. We have the tag number of the red 4-door Chrysler she got into, but so far have been unable to reach the registered owner of the car (that information can be found at the end of the video). Maybe the driver thought she paid for that drink?
