CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: DOLLAR GENERAL – 8201 US Highway 98 North, Lakeland
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 25-34616

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at around 11:08 a.m., an unidentified female suspect entered the Dollar General located at 8201 US Highway 98 North in Lakeland and attempted to leave with merchandise she did not pay for. The store manager was able to recover the stolen items, valued at $38.52, before the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect, seen in this video, is described as approximately 55 years old, weighing around 145 pounds, and was last seen wearing baggy clothing. She left the area in a white Honda CRV.
